Autumn Term Roundup
Esteem South Academy has enjoyed a fantastic Autumn Term filled with learning, enrichment and whole‑school achievements. Students took part in a wide range of activities — from focusing on Remembrance Day in literacy, to Forest School sessions at Rosliston Forestry Centre, swimming at Ashby Pool, and PE with Burton Albion.
Attendance has been a key focus this term, and we are delighted to see continued improvement across the school, with two students achieving an outstanding 100% attendance for the entire term.
Our learning beyond the classroom has been just as exciting, with trips to Derby Cathedral, Laser Tag, Escape Rooms, and the Snowdome. We ended the term with our annual Christmas Bazaar, where families joined us to enjoy handmade student crafts, turkey cobs and festive activities. The event raised £228 to support future enrichment opportunities for students.
Thank you to all families, staff and supporters for making this term such a success. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year — and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2026!
